Despite the Ups and Downs we saw in almost every asset class during the last 12 month, eREIT Dividend performance still holding up against all stock performance related volatility. Similar to what we see with mREITs.

Equity REITs stock performance decline in the first six month of 2023 resulting almost entirely from decreasing demand in various office REIT segments and from changes in the interest landscape

REIT Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) invest their assets primarily in equity REIT securities and other derivatives (Source: Investopedia). These REIT indexes include a number of different types of REITs as components. By tracking an index – or in case of our bebc ETF index a number of different indexes – an investor can gain exposure to a much larger real estate sector without risking investments on one individual company. Means investments are widely spread and enable for a much higher amount of risk mitigation.

US eREITs are part of high performing, non volatile Asset Class and as such to be classified as Asset Backet Securities. Real Assets are the way to go (or to invest) for long term growth and performance. Especially if the investor maintains a buy-and-hold mindset, targeted to long term stable investments … and to high dividend yields.
